and the nurturing of global citizens of the 21st century. This
book systematically introduces the curriculum, a result of
over ten years of researches and experiments. It serves as
a distinctive guide and reference for educators and schools
engaging in pedagogical reform.
The book consists of three parts: An overview of the Yew Chung
Chinese curriculum; delineation of the different phases of the
curriculum (from early childhood education to matriculation, and
Chinese as an additional language), and the growth of the Yew Chung
Chinese Curriculum Development Division.
About the Authors
The Editorial Committee of Yew Chung International School,
Hong Kong, which has now formed the professional editorial team of
YCPH, consists of veteran educators and researchers of Chinese teaching
in the international education context.
